I've shot with three different Canons over the years — a 10D, a 50D, and now a 5D Mark III — and somewhere along the way that gear turned into a habit of carrying a camera everywhere I travel.

This gallery is the result: pelicans on a fishing pier in Lima, sunrise over the stupas at Borobudur, the sail-shaped curves of the Sydney Opera House, orangutans in Borneo, whales off Cabo San Lucas — and, closer to home, the bridges and parks around Saint Paul and Stillwater, Minnesota.

If there's a thread through the work, it's structure — the geometry of a bridge, the rhythm of columns, the way light lands on a building's face. But I'm just as happy waiting out a puffin on a cliff in the Faroe Islands or a whale's tail off the Mexican coast.

Every photo here is one I took myself, on location — no stock, no AI. Prints are available at $5, because I'd rather these end up on someone's wall than sit in a folder on a hard drive.
